Road signs will be provided for the Bennington Veterans memorial. The city of Bennington will provide and pay for the signs.

November 11, 2019, Veterans Day, Ridgewood retirement home will have an color guard at 10 AM. Post 266 will provide the members as color guard.

November 11, 2019, Veterans Day, Anchor Point school (approximately 168th and Fort) will have a American Legion post 266 an honor guard. There will be two events, 10 AM and 6:30 PM.
Auxiliary for the 100-year American Legion anniversary
American Legion post 266 Veterans will provide a dinner for the Auxiliary for the 100-year American Legion anniversary. American Legion post 266 members will provide the food, drinks, serve the dinner. The date is November 10, 2019, at 1 PM.

November 11 annual program sponsored by Omaha Post #1 will he moved from Memorial Park to their Post Home at 11:00 a.m.
Eastern Nebraska Veterans Home
District 8 host an ice cream social at the Eastern Nebraska Veterans Home on the 3rd Friday monthly at 2:00 p.m. He stated that they can always use additional volunteers.
La Vista Foundation free dinner
November 7 La Vista Foundation free dinner at the Embassy Suites for veterans. You must sign up at La Vista Foundation .org to make reservations.
Air Force Retirement Day program
October 19 is the Air Force Retirement Day program from 9:00 am. to 1:00 p.m. This is where service members about to retire can learn about the American Legion and many other programs. It will be held at the BX on Offutt AFB. Bruce Husted is the contact person for this program. You have to be cleared prior to the event to volunteer.
