This year the American Legion turned 100-years-old and by celebrating the American Legion Bennington Post 266 and its Auxiliary recognized two families with Gold Stars.
The American Legion Bennington Post 266 hosted the celebration by providing meals for veterans and their families.
At the conclusion of the meal, Fredrick Marez and Roger McCord were recognized with Gold Stars.
