American Legion Post #266 invited Wendy DeBoer to come and discuss Veterans’ issues. Ms. DeBoer is Bennington’s State Senator (District 10). She graciously accepted the invitation and is coming to the May 2, 2019 Legion Meeting.
You are invited to come to share your concerns and to hear what the Unicameral is doing in support of veterans. Enclosed is a list of bills before the Unicameral that may affect Veterans. You might want to review the list for bills you would like Senator DeBoer to discuss with our Legion Members. A recent bill on Americanism was introduced at the first session of the Unicameral this year a copy is available from The American Legion Post#266 Website: legion266ne.org. Hopefully Senator De Boer will return in August or September to share her understandings of LB399 – Americanism with the Bennington community.
Plan to attend the May 2 American Legion Meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the Legion Hall, 15312 S 2nd South Second Street, Bennington, NE and discuss veterans concerns with your State Senator, Wendy DeBoer.
